Carbide tipped with centre point, two main cutting edges, two taper taps. Precisely ground by diamond wheel on CNC machines. High quality carbide tipping and special curved grinding (> Ø 23 mm) on the main cutting edges. Tear free, accurate drillings in all hard wood materials, coated and plastic coated chipboards, as well as many plastics, such as acrylic glass, Corian, GFRP, HPL coating, polycarbonate, PVC and Trespa board. Very good chip removal due to serrated grinding on main cutting edges. For stationary use only. Drilling with nearly no effort as well as an unbelievable service life, also for use in hard wood and hard plastics. For freehand drilling we recommend the TCT-Bormax³ (product line 1663). TCT (main cutting edges and taper tap)1500 - 8000 rpm. e.g. Ø 35 mm 3000 rpm in European hard wood.
